iSandBOX will be exhibiting at this year’s Techfest – the north-east’s annual festival of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). The Festival aims to promote STEM subjects to young people and to the wider community by providing an accessible, diverse and entertaining programme.
There’s lots of events planned in and around Aberdeen for TechFest 2016, which is in its 23rd year. 22,000 people are expected to participate in the festival, which is regarded as a key event within education, industry and the wider community. Techfest is supported by the Scottish Government, Local Authorities, Industry and Further Education Establishments.
iSandBOX will be on full display at Techfest’s Early Year and Primary Programme from 29 August – 2 September and at the Activity Weekend on 3 and 4 September, which are taking place at Gordon Barracks, Ellon Road, Bridge of Don. Techfest has further events lined up from 27 August until 18 September, when this year’s festival will draw to an end.
Delegates visiting our stand can enjoy a demonstration of the interactive sandbox that ‘brings sand to life’ using augmented reality. They can also learn more about how iSandBOX creates a magical and memorable experience for children how its games tie in with learning and education.
